Actress Bea Alonzo and businessman Vincent Co have always preferred keeping their relationship away from the spotlight, so it wasn't surprising that their wedding followed the same approach. The couple quietly exchanged vows in a civil ceremony officiated by Makati Mayor Nancy Binay on Monday, July 13, before gathering their nearest and dearest for an intimate reception just a few minutes away.

The celebration was held in Txoko Asador in Legazpi Village, a restaurant inspired by the Basque tradition of txokos—places where friends come together over good food and even better company.

Instead of a conventional banquet, Bea and Vincent treated guests to a menu that highlighted many of Txoko Asador's signature dishes.

The menu, which Bea later shared on Instagram Stories, began with a generous charcuterie spread before moving on to several of Txoko Asador's signature dishes. Among them were the Pan con Tomate y Jamon (P695), featuring bread pillows filled with tomato foam and topped with Serrano ham; Salmon Pintxo (P510); Tuna Tartare (P600); Patatas Bravas (P320); and the indulgent Canelones Txangurro (P1,100), a crab cannelloni coated in seafood béchamel.

The meal continued with two of the restaurant’s best-known paellas: Setas y Tuétano (P1,070), topped with grilled bone marrow and truffle allioli, and Campero (P890), a comforting combination of chicken, chorizo, mushrooms, and crispy chicken skin.

For the mains, guests were served the restaurant's signature Secreto Iberico (P2,400), featuring grilled Iberian pork with trinxat and allioli, alongside a 1.5-kilogram Tomahawk (P10,500) cooked over a Josper grill—a centerpiece that can usually be ordered with advance notice.

Dessert stayed true to the restaurant's Spanish roots with Quexo, Txoko’s Basque cheesecake served with apple compote, followed by Bombas con Txokolate (P580), crisp pastry shells filled with chocolate ganache and almonds.

Although the menu was created specifically for Bea and Vincent's reception, most of the dishes can also be ordered during regular service. Those planning a celebration of their own can also inquire about hosting a private gathering at Txoko Asador or through its catering service.

Txoko Asador is located at 102 Esteban Street, Legazpi Village, Makati. It serves lunch daily from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., while dinner is available from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays and in two evening seatings on Fridays through Sundays.
