The debut list spans everything from fine-dining destinations to casual neighborhood spots, offering a glimpse into the country’s evolving dining culture.
Below are all the Philippine restaurants that have earned Michelin Stars, along with the special awardees recognized for service, sustainability, and creativity.
One Michelin Star
Asador Alfonso
Set against the quiet landscape of Cavite, Asador Alfonso brings a refined take on Spanish cuisine under Chef Rodrigo Andres Osorio. The restaurant sits on a nine-hectare property inspired by Taal Volcano, where the chef works with ingredients flown in from Spain to create dishes rooted in tradition yet executed with precision.
As the Michelin Guide notes, the restaurant delivers “authentic dishes that balance rustic simplicity with remarkable depth.” Standouts include the house-aged A5 Wagyu ham (Jamon de Wagyu) and the roasted suckling pig (Cochinillo).
Celera
Located in Makati’s Comuna, Celera delivers a contemporary Asian experience that feels both intimate and adventurous. According to the Michelin Guide, “Two chef-owners craft contemporary Asian dishes that draw on influences from Japan, China, Singapore, and beyond.”
The word “Celera” means “appetite” in Malay, perfectly fitting its moody interiors and open kitchen that invite diners into a sensory-driven meal. Expect dashi-based broths, subtle smoke, and layers of umami, all plated with an eye for modern artistry.
