Now that we’re still dealing with separation anxiety from It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, we honestly can’t wait for our next K-drama obsession. Luckily, TvN has finally announced the premiere date of Lee Dong Wook’s much-awaited return to the world of dramas in The Tale of Gumiho.
In an Instagram post, @tvndrama.official released three official stills featuring the main cast and confirmed that the fantasy drama will air on October 7, 2020.
Lee Dong Wook’s Lee Yeon looks stylish, mysterious, and stern in his black suit.
Jo Bo Ah’s Nam Ji Ah and her expressive eyes are pretty telling, making us even more curious about what her character will be like!
Meanwhile, Kim Bum looks even more mischievous as Lee Rang in a red suit.
Can't get enough? Earlier this week, Korea Dispatch also released high quality photos of Kim Bum and Dong Wook from their TikTok fanmeet, where the actors seemed to sport similar hairstyles as their characters on the show.
Dong Wook and Kim Bum were all smiles at their virtual fanmeet on TikTok last Aug 14.
The Tale of Gumiho is a fantasy drama about a mystical nine-tailed fox named Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook), who encounters hardworking TV producer Nam Ji Ah (played by Jo Bo Ah). Not much has been revealed about Kim Bum’s character Lee Rang except that he plays Lee Yeon’s brother. Although the video teaser that was released earlier hints that the drama is a mix of action, mystery, and romance.
