There's also a treat for "Hamilton" fans.

There's a new animated film coming to Netflix soon called Over the Moon, and it's definitely caught our attention. Why? Well, for starters, it stars up-and-coming Chinese-Filipina actress Cathy Ang. Boasting of a vast repertoire in the field of theater, Cathy will be voicing and singing for its lead character Fei Fei. This movie also marks her first major role on the big screen.

Over the Moon is a Chinese-American musical fantasy adventure that follows the said young girl on her quest to prove the existence of the mythical Moon Goddess. To do so, she builds a rocket ship that takes her to a whimsical land inhabited my fantastical creatures. “With Fei Fei, it was really important to find a voice with sincerity and openness, all kinds of qualities that are magnetic. When I heard Cathy Ang sing Rocket to the Moon, you could feel the desire in her eyes. You could hear the will in her voice," the film's director Glen Keane says.

Fun fact: The aforementioned song Rocket to the Moon, which acts as the movie's lead track, was not originally supposed to be part of the actual film. Except the producers quickly changed their minds after hearing Cathy sing it for the first time. "On the very first take, she nailed the song. It was perfect. We could not believe it. We were exploding with excitement, and that first take in its entirety is the actual take that you hear in the final version of the film," reveals film producer Pelin Chou.
