Such is the case for PP Krit, a 26-year-old actor hailing from Thailand who has made his stamp as a performer and fashion muse.

1. PP is a Taurus.

Krit Amnuaydechkorn was born on April 30, 1999 in Bangkok, Thailand. Originally, he was to go by "Pruk," but his parents decided to call him "PP" since they felt it was a more youthful name. He attended Assumption College, a Catholic all-boys private school, for his elementary and high school studies. He then pursued a degree in entrepreneurial economics from Kasetsart University, which he eventually attained in 2022.

2. PP was "discovered" by a hairstylist.

During his 12th Grade of school, PP's handsomeness was noticed by a hairstylist named Gong of Gong Hive Salon. Gong connected him to Nadao Bangkok, which took him under his wing as an actor and model. His first-ever on-screen credit was a music video for Thai band Helmetheads. His official acting debut arrived in 2019, when he played a guest role in medical drama My Ambulance.

3. PP is in a Boys' Love team with Billkin.

My Ambulance became an avenue for PP to connect with fellow newbie actor Billkin, as the two played romantic interests in the show. The two displayed instant chemistry, which led to their first lead series I Told Sunset About You, which premiered in late 2020. The Boys' Love series was wildly successful worldwide, serving as a springboard for the duo to reach international stardom. PP, in particular, received the Asian Star Prize at the 2021 Seoul International Drama Awards for his performance as Oh-aew on the show.

The #BillkinPP craze resulted in a sequel series entitled I Promised You the Moon. As the two became globally-adored actors, they also established their respective companies PP Krit Entertainment and Billkin Entertainment. Most recently, they reunited for the Thai adaptation of Taiwanese horror-comedy Marry My Dead Body, retitled as The Red Envelope (which you can now stream on Netflix, by the way.)

4. PP Krit is a recording artist.

Outside of acting, PP has also dove into a singing career, releasing singles since 2020. After doing duets with Billkin for their show's original soundtrack, PP took a more pop-centric route with his solo work. His discography includes songs like I'll Do It How You Like It, FIRE BOY, and Oopsie Daisie, all of which have birthed TikTok dance trends in Thailand and beyond. PP has also held concerts and fan meetings in the past, usually joined by Billkin.

5. PP is the first-ever Balenciaga ambassador.

In 2022, following his meteoric rise to fame post-ITSAY, PP was handpicked by Balenciaga to become its global brand ambassador, alongside French thespian Isabelle Huppert. Significantly, the two are the first-ever official ambassadors of the Spanish maison in its decades-long history.

Of his appointment, PP expressed that, "Balenciaga has captured my attention for its creativity and ethical vision, as well as allowed me to express my authentic self and individuality to the world." Since his announcement, he's attended several fashion week presentations and events of the brand, rubbing shoulders with former creative director Demna along the way.
