Single’s Inferno has launched many of its participants careers in the entertainment industry. Lim Su Been, the show’s Song Joong Ki lookalike, seems to be another contestant reaping the fruits of the Netflix title’s success. Days after Single’s Inferno concluded with its final episode last February 10, Korean media announced Su Been’s first major K-drama debut.
Lim Su Been to Star in K-Drama with Kim Woo Bin
According to Joy News 24, the Single’s Inferno star has just been cast in a K-drama opposite Kim Woo Bin, whom many of you might know from hit shows like Our Blues, Uncontrollably Fond, and The Heirs. He and fellow hallyu star Shin Min Ah recently tied the knot last December 20, 2025 after a 10-year courtship.
The show, titled Gifted, is based on a webtoon of the same name. Woo Bin will reportedly play a baseball coach who discovers he has extraordinary abilities following an unexpected accident. This leads him to managing an amateur high school team that always ends up dead last in tournaments. It's up to him and his newfound gift to help turn things around for the down-on-their-luck group.

Su Been’s role is yet to be confirmed, but we speculate he’ll mostly likely portray one of the athletes, considering his background. Before joining Single’s Inferno, he was a baseball pitcher for a decade until an injury put a pause on his sporting dreams. He transitioned into modeling and has even tried his hand at acting with a bit part in the short-form, two-episode drama A Head Coach’s Turnover. Back then, he even went by the stage name of Cha Bin.
Gifted is scheduled to film on the first half of this year. Aside from Woo Bin and Su Been, Seo Eun Soo, known for starring in TV shows like Dr. Romantic, My Golden Life, and Made In Korea, will reportedly be playing the female lead.
