Kathryn Bernardo Channels the Princess of Genovia for Halloween 2025

Kathryn Bernardo as the Princess of Genovia? Shut up! The Box Office Queen turned heads by trading her crown for another one this Halloween. ICYMI, she channeled Anne Hathaway’s iconic character from The Princess Diaries, Mia Thermopolis.

Kathryn Bernardo isn’t one to miss out on the Halloween fright fest. Former years saw her as the Corpse Bride and Poison Ivy. This 2025, she kept it regal with a dash of cool as Mia Thermopolis, particularly Anne’s look in the 2001 movie’s iconic poster.

Kathryn shared her costume in a series of photos on Instagram. To replicate the Genovian princess, she rocked a white tube dress and satin gloves, punctuated, of course, by a dainty, silver tiara.

With her hair cleanly tied back in a bun, what really brought the ensemble together were the retro headphones and shades that made the original poster so memorable.

Known as Pinoy cinema royalty in real life, Kathryn recently achieved another milestone in her career as Madame Tussauds Hong Kong’s newest wax figure. Announced last October, Kathryn is set to join the likes of Pia Jauncey, Anne Curtis, and other Hollywood and global icons in the attraction’s hallowed halls.

While full details have yet to be released, she teased her twin’s look in an exclusive interview with Preview. "Yung look na makikita nyo, it's [from] one of my biggest milestones as a celebrity. It's a moment na magandang balikan. It's like a reminder [of my] journey bilang artista," shared the actress.
