SNSD’s Tiffany Young is getting married! The K-pop idol and actress confirmed the news on December 13, 2025, revealing that she’s currently in a relationship with K-drama actor Byun Yo Han. The latter made a similar announcement on his Instagram page, sharing, “I have met someone who makes me want to become a better person, someone whose smile gently warms my heart when I am tired—someone I truly love.” In the same post, Yo Han clearly stated their intention to marry, sending the internet into a giddy frenzy.
Congratulations are definitely in order for the happy couple, but first, let’s get to know the lucky man who won over Tiffany’s heart.
Who Is Byun Yo Han?
He’s a Taurus
Yo Han was born on April 29, 1986, in Incheon, South Korea. He had his sights set on acting from a young age, leading him to take up a theater major at the Korean National University of the Arts. He appeared in over 30 short films during his college years, before breaking into the industry professionally.
He debuted in 2011
Yo Han has been acting professionally for more than a decade. His claim to fame came in 2014, with a supporting role in Misaeng: Incomplete Life, a workplace drama starring fellow acting heavyweights Im Si Wan and Kang Ha Neul. His other notable dramas include Mr. Sunshine and Black Out.
He can sing too
When it comes to singing, Yo Han can hold his own alongside Tiffany. We're not just talking holding a note here, either. In 2016, he made his stage debut in the musical Hedwig, where he plays the titular character, who happens to be a gender queer rock star. Check out his duet with IU below.
He’s won multiple awards
Yo Han’s talent has been recognized by multiple award-giving bodies. He’s won several Best Actor Awards for both his movie and tv roles, including Black Out, The Book of Fish, and Following. In 2023, he won the coveted Best Supporting Actor accolade at the Baeksang Arts Awards, a.k.a. the Korean Oscars, for his performance in Hansan: Rising Dragon. The historical war-action film made over $55 million in the box office, making it the second highest-grossing Korean movie of 2022.
He starred in a K-drama with Tiffany
Reports speculate that Yo Han and Tiffany’s relationship deepened after appearing together in the Disney+ original series Uncle Samsik. The show began filming in 2023 and was released on April 2024. Yo Han portrays Kim San, a graduate from the Korea Military Academy, with big ambitions. He develops a romantic relationship with Tiffany’s character, named Rachel Jeong. The two even shared an onscreen kiss that’s since resurfaced following their announcement.
