Blinks, it's time to get your Gaga on! Fans are definitely in for a treat as BLACKPINK is slated to lend their unique sound in Lady Gaga’s upcoming sixth studio album entitled Chromatica.
Last April 23, Mother Monster released the official tracklist of her much-awaited album on her Twitter and Instagram accounts. A quick tap on her IG post and you'll see how she confirmed her featured artists, too! And we couldn’t help but fangirl upon seeing BLACKPINK tagged in one of her songs.
They’ve joined forces in a track called Sour Candy. And judging from the title, it sounds like a badass, punchy song that’s going to on loop for hours and hours. Exciting!
Aside from BLACKPINK, expect to hear other pop music icons in Gaga's Chromatica album. Look out for Ariana Grande's silky voice on a song called Rain On Me, and Elton John's powerful vocals who collaborated with her for Sing From Above.
Chromatica was supposed to be released last April 10 but was pushed to a later release this year due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, we’re keeping our hopes up for a surprise drop (pleeeease, Mother Monster?) because this record will definitely lift our spirits during these trying times.
