ICYMI: American R&B singer Ne-Yo will be holding his highly anticipated concert in Manila on January 23, 2023. When the news was announced by Wilbros Live yesterday, Filipino pageant fans couldn’t help but look back on the iconic moment when Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray strutted to the three-time Grammy winner’s hit song Miss Independent during the pageant's coronation night.
Netizens were quick to tag the beauty queen as soon as the concert was announced on Twitter, clamoring for a remake of her famous “lava walk” that bagged her the Miss Universe crown.
As a huge fan of the R&B superstar herself, Catriona is excited for the show as much as we are, and it seems like she’s game to strut on stage too! “Lava walk part 2?” She replied to a Twitter user.
We all know that Catriona is full of surprises. Who knows? Maybe we’ll get to see her iconic lava walk again, after all. Fingers crossed!
