Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has filed a complaint against the malicious party spreading fake and edited nude photos attributed to her on social media.
The beauty queen was photographed at the National Bureau of Investigation earlier today along with her legal counsel. Catriona first announced that she would be taking action against the people behind the fabricated photos during a press appearance for One Town, One Product this morning after she was launched as the program’s new ambassador.

Catriona’s camp strongly denounces the photo, which, according to her lawyer, was edited using the singer’s Bench ad. “We are actively coordinating with authorities to hold accountable whoever is behind this scheme and face penal sanctions accordingly. We will likewise take legal action against those involved in the manufacture and publication of said photo,” Catriona’s legal counsel Joji Alonso said in a media statement last Saturday.
The said photo was circulated on the internet over the weekend, all while controversy swirled around Catriona after the beauty queen's ex-boyfriend Clint Bondad posted several cryptic IG stories.

Sam Milby, Catriona’s current boyfriend, wrote a message on Instagram defending the beauty queen yesterday, after the said topless photo made rounds on social media.
“I cannot simply stand by and allow other people to take control of a narrative that is not theirs to tell,” Sam begins. “Cat and I have chosen to keep our relationship mostly private. It was only until recently that we made an exception, to lend our voices to charitable causes. But that does not mean that there is truth to any of these false stories and fake news that people are creating to fill in the blanks. In fact, these wrongful accusations and defamatory lies are dangerous….”
