If you've ever run errands in Podium, then you've probably seen the ebony tarp that signals that the cafe's construction is well underway! Its floor-to-ceiling tarpaulin had the brand's unmistakable script scrawled over that said: Café Kitsuné, opening soon. And a few more steps, you'll see next to it: Maison Kitsuné. Yup, its clothing brand counterpart is also opening its very first boutique in Manila! Currently, luxury retailer Univers stocks Maison Kitsuné locally.

Of course, I couldn't believe my eyes so I just had to Google more info about it! But, any whiff of news about it on the internet proved to be non-existent—except for one solid clue that confirms it all. On Maison Kitsuné's official website, they've got a world map of all their branches around the world. And guess what? Manila—along with Vancouver, Canada; Doha, Qatar; Bali, Indonesia; Jakarta, Indonesia; and, Beijing, China—is indeed about to open its very own branch!

Of course, it goes without saying that we'll keep you posted with more news once we know more. Until then, here are our shopping picks that you might want to buy when they finally open!
