If you've always wanted to experience NYFW or maybe wear a piece from Victoria Beckham's clothing line, then we're pleased to report that an ongoing auction might just give you the chance to.
L.A.-based celebrity hairstylist Ken Pavés, who works with likes of Oprah, Eva Longoria, and the Beckhams, has collected precious items from his famous clients and have put them up for auction. The proceeds will go to Bright Faces, a nonprofit organization that helps provide children in need with cleft lip and palate surgery. He talked more about the organization in a press event in collaboration with RGPI Philippines, the distributor of brands like Wella and OPI in the country.
"I have supported organizations like Bright Faces for over 15 years," Ken, whose mother is actually part Filipino, tells the press. "Left untreated, one in 10 children with a cleft lip or palate will die before their first birthday. This cause is very close to my heart because my nephew Ryan was one of these children. He was born with Trisomy and other birth defects that took his life at 15 months old. He is still my greatest role model and my inspiration to be of service to the world."
Some of the items for auction include a signed faux fur jacket from Oprah Winfrey, autographed Adidas cleats and a Manchester United jersey from David Beckham, two tickets to Tibi's Spring 2020 show in New York, a signed Victoria Beckham dress and many more. Bids can be placed online through its Charitybuzz page.
