Watching K-dramas and seeing all the pretty places they're set in will definitely make you want to visit South Korea. From their featured cafes to parks, there are so many places that we'd like to add to our travel bucket list.
If you've been keeping up with Lee Min Ho's latest K-drama, The King: Eternal Monarch, you're probably familiar with the mysterious bamboo forest where Lee Gon opens the portal between the two parallel worlds of Korea. The mysterious forest looks so cinematic on-screen, but if you're a lover of the outdoors, it feels like it would be a good spot to get in touch with nature as well.
The Korea Tourism Organization shares that the forest is actually called Ahopsan Forest, and it's located in 37-1, Midong-gil Cheolma-myeon, Gijang-gun, Busan. It's also a popular filming site! Other K-dramas who shot scenes in the mysterious-looking forest include 100 Days My Prince and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
We're definitely adding this to our must-visit places in South Korea when it's safe to travel again.
