Parasite may have been the clear champion at this year's Oscars, but there's another winner who scored the kind of victory fan girls can only dream of. Ladies and gentlemen, believe it or not, our very own Arci Muñoz attended the Oscars—and she got to meet Parasite director Bong Joon-ho and actor Song Kang-ho!
The actress took to Instagram to share her excitement, narrating what happened in her caption: "I greeted Mr. Kang ho Song! Had a convo with him in Korean!! Oh, was soo glad I took my Korean class!! Told him how much I love their movie!! He quickly grabbed me by the hand and introduced me to ze man!! #bongjoonho And so the next photo happened!"
Parasite bagged four awards at the Oscars. The South Korean comedy-thriller film won Best International Film Feature, Best Picture, and Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay.
For her Oscars look, Arci opted for a sleek velvet pantsuit, which she matched with a Louis Vuitton Petite Malle clutch.
Prior to Arci's major fan girl moment, she also got to attend the event's pre-party, the Hollywood Global Ocean Gala. It took place last Saturday, February 8. Here, Arci was lucky enough to snap a photo with Fast & Furious star Michelle Rodriguez!
The prestigious event was in honor of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco for his environmental efforts. He was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Celebrity guests included Sharon Stone and Uma Thurman.
For the event, Arci went for a bold look in a striking color. She wore an emerald green Mark Bumgarner gown with a long train and beribboned off-shouldered sleeves.
We still can't believe Arci attended the Oscars, and we can't wait to hear her stories! We wonder if she shook hands with more celebrities...
