It's always a good idea to revamp your hair when summer comes along. In this heat, you'd just want to chop off any tresses that'll have you perspiring more than you should. Aside from that though, the sunny season is also a prime opportunity to finally get that fun dye job you've been thinking of. Such was the case for Ruffa Gutierrez, who spontaneously decided to switch up her look last week.
Thanks to hair colorist Nicole Santos, and with a little nudge from makeup artist Emman Concepcion, the actress swapped her long black locks for a fresh, platinum ash blonde lob. "It's called rebuilding, rediscovering, [and] redefining," she said after debuting her new 'do on It's Showtime.
"'Di ba nung pandemic, lahat tayo naging boring. So ngayon, I don't want to be boring for myself," she added. She even quipped that "parang ako [si] Sarah Lahbati!" referring to her sister-in-law's vibrant hairstyles.
The next day, March 19, she surprised everyone when she walked in the studio with yet another new look! This time, she sported her blunt lob in a striking salmon pink hue.
We can't say for sure if Ruffa will continue playing around with her hair or if she'll go back to her usual black look. Nonetheless, it's undeniable that she looks great with any color or length. Keep doing you, Ruffa!
