In perfumery, the rose is not a mere ingredient. It's an entire universe.
The damascena rose is one of the two natural rose species used in perfumery. It grows in Bulgaria and Turkey, with the ability to yield both an essence and an absolute. A single rose is known to contain 300 olfactive molecules. Much like expressions of femininity, it offers endless possibilities and unlocks multiple facets—from powerful and rich to warm and sweet.
Whether your signature taste in fragrance leans floral or not, the complexity of the rose heightens the chances of finding the one—the scent that speaks to you and effortlessly translates your story.
Ahead, discover the alluring Delina collection by Parfums de Marly.
Delina by Parfums de Marly
The Delina collection features three interpretations of the damascena rose, each one designed to accompany you from dusk till dawn.

The first chapter begins with Delina La Rosée. The aqueous aroma is a tribute to the 18th century, when young royal women would greet the morning by dipping their handkerchiefs into a bath of roses—harvested from the seemingly endless gardens of Marly, no less. The soaked fabric would then graze their skin gently, offering a refreshing and hydrating start to the day.
The sparkling fragrance is reminiscent of a luminous rose bathed in morning dew. It opens with green and fruity facets from pear and bergamot essences, a subtle recall of fresh mornings at the castle.
Damascena rose and transparent flowers then enter the scene, mirroring the sensation of dew settling onto velvety rose petals. The scent settles into white musk, evoking comfortable mornings in Marly.

As the hours go by, the sun delicately directs its rays toward the gardens. The ladies of the court enter the space, blossoming roses softly kissing their billowing dresses. Whispered secrets are exchanged in conversation, occasionally punctuated by gentle bursts of laughter. In great company and pure joy, Delina paints a picture of a beautiful day spent at the Château de Marly.
A more playful yet addictive take, Delina begins with vibrant and juicy lychee, unfolding into the powerful expression of a fully bloomed damascena rose. It lingers, leaving a trail of soft musks and cashmeran that shapes a more sensual and radiant atmosphere—like the sensation of sunlight settling on the skin.

Night falls and an alluring twilight approaches the château. After basking in the day’s illuminating beams, it now welcomes the evening air, unveiling a deeper and more mysterious expression.
The first spritz introduces a sweet and intense lychee. Its fruity facets meet the sensuality of damascena rose blended with vanilla, magnifying its warm amber aroma. Incense sets the stage for the evening, creating a glow that captures a certain je ne sais quoi.
