Despite the obvious, the ways to enhance one’s beauty remains to be taboo amongst amigas who lunch. Seldom do we admit that we’ve had something done, whether we’re talking about our new nose (let's keep it a secret between us and Dr. Tan) or how that one friend magically stretched herself on Spring so she could look like Giselle Bündchen on IG.
Recently, front-row fixture Bryanboy rattled the social media cage as he shared his recent transformation in full detail via Instagram and Snapchat. The 35-year-old blogger went candid with going under the knife, giving his followers a full blow-by-blow as he posted post-op photos of himself, swollen and bandaged as he thought that it would “make great content.”
He tells the Philippine Daily Inquirer, “I didn’t want to ‘hide’ and reappear acting as if nothing happened,” adding “Altering how I physically look is a big part of my life and it made a cute online story, especially for people who are also thinking of doing the same.”
“First things first, no one should ever be shamed for doing what they want to their own bodies.”
He goes on telling PDI that everyone, at one point in their lives, has done something to enhance the way they look, whether done through photo editing or a cosmetic procedure. He says, “Never let anyone put you down for doing what makes you feel and look good!” Good point, Bryanboy. Good point.
