Wearing makeup for extended hours is every model's daily grind—and yet, you'd rarely catch a model who doesn't have her skin in check. They're almost always glowing, as if they wore five sheet masks the night before, leaving us constantly wondering how it's even possible. Could it just be genetics? Probably, but we can't discount the power of skincare either. Because even models, who are basically the grand winners of the gene pool lottery, count on products when the rare face emergency hits. With that in mind, we did a little survey and asked our favorite local models about their holy grail for good skin. Read on to cop their beauty secrets!
1. Monika Sta Maria (@monikastamaria)
"I feel like my holy grail could shift focus to different things depending on the seasons or what I currently need. Currently, the spotlight goes to my Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum that never fails to [give] my skin a renewed glow in the morning! I've been using it almost every day since my Korean friend, Hye Won, introduced it to me because her mom (who looks like her sister at 50!) [has been using] it since she was in her 20s!"
2. Sam Lewis (@_samlewis)
"I would say Estee Lauder ANR serum and the ANR Intense Reset Concentrate are the two I can't live without because I see and feel the glow I get after using [them]. It's also perfect for me because let’s face it, I'm not getting any younger so I love it also for it's anti-aging benefits!"

3. Angela Martinez (@angelasburgers)
"My go-to is the Aloe Vera Soothing Gel Mist by Nature Republic! Since I have oily skin I prefer to use any water-based skin care. It also [acts] as a moisturizer without feeling heavy and it gives me a dewy finish! I use it before makeup and as a setting spray; also before I sleep and especially on days I don’t wear makeup."

4. Selina Woo Bhang (@woobhang)
"My holy grail skincare product would be the Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash from Kiehl's. I usually massage it onto my face for two minutes to really get rid of any excess products that the makeup remover didn't catch. I've been using it for seven months now and I noticed a remarkable improvement! I believe my skin meshes better with products that use more organic or natural ingredients."

5. Taki Yoneyama (@oiitstaki)
"Unlike [physical] exfoliators that could cause micro abrasions and sometimes, inflammation, this toner gently exfoliates my skin. I love it because it improves my skin texture and uneven skin tone."
THE ORDINARY Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, P900, Beautymnl
6. Kelsey Merritt (@kelseymerritt)
"I love the La Mer Soft Creme and any Vitamin C/Hyaluronic [acid] Serum."

7. Steffi Ziebert (@babygirl.ziee)
"I'd have to say aloe vera gel. It's my go-to moisturizer! It's not sticky and absorbs easily, great for any skin type, making it ideal for the Philippine weather. My skin usually gets so dry especially with all the products and makeup at shoots so I always remember to put on aloe vera gel after washing my face every night."
8. Agie Stockel (@agiestoeckel)
"I always apply a moisturizing sleeping mask from Miniso, which has different variants like peach and raspberry. I leave it on my face overnight, and when I wake up, it never fails to amaze me because it tightens my pores and keeps my face looking fresh."
9. Sabina Gonzalez (@sabinagonzalez)
"My long time go-to has always been retinol cream [prescribed by my dermatologist]. I apply a very thin layer at night before bed, usually just on my T-zone. It's the absolute best for me because by essentially peeling off the top layer of old skin, it keeps my skin consistently clearer and fresher, as well as helping with uneven tones."
10. Maureen Wroblewitz (@mauwrob)
"I'm not really a skincare person. I keep changing products. I just make sure that the products don't have a strong scent because that's what can usually make you break out. One product I always use for spots though is pure tea tree oil. I love using it cause it really works. I dries out the pimples."
11. Jessica Yang (@jesych)
"[Clinique's Clearing Gel, AHC's Real Eye Cream for Face, and Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate] are the bomb and works best for the lazy me. LOL."
