Patience is a virtue when it comes to brightening products. Even the most effective ones can take a few weeks to properly work their magic, and that's 100% understandable. That's just the way properly-formulated skincare works. However, that doesn't mean that products with the capability to give instant results don't exist, because they do. Case in point: this interesting body creme that we recently tried at Preview HQ.

FRONTROW Luxxe White Reveal InstaBright Body Creme SPF 25, P1888, Front Row

According to the product's website, the Instabright Body Creme is a highly-moisturizing cream with a soufflé-like texture that's non-sticky and lightweight. The formula is infused with popular brightening ingredients like glutathione and niacinamide to give the skin a youthful glow. Some of its other claims include progressive skin brightening, dark spot lightening, wrinkle smoothing, skin firming, and instant radiance. And for all of you who tend to be very particular about the ingredients, this cream is also free from mineral oil, talc, parabens, artificial colors, and benzophenone. It has an SPF of 25 with UVA and UVB protection, too!

To test if this product really lives up to its "Instabright" name, I decided to conduct a little test. I applied the cream only on my left arm, and kept my right arm completely bare. Did it make a difference? See for yourself!

As you can probably tell, my left arm looks significantly lighter than my right. Take note that these photos were not post-processed and were taken at the exact same time using the same camera and lighting! So while I can't really vouch for this product's long-term effects just yet, its brightening claims definitely had visible and instant results.

I would assume that this is mostly due to the product's SPF content, which typically gives anything from foundations to powders a white cast. That said, it does contain thickeners like tapioca starch as well, which could also affect the color of the cream when applied on the skin. Overall, I can see this being an effective quick fix for evening out fair skin tones.
