Blush isn't exactly everyone's cup of tea, and we know there are many who would rather contour or highlight instead. But this shouldn't pose any problems, since applying cheek tint isn't your only option to add some color and definition. Here's an idea from top model Monika Sta. Maria:
Without using a ton of blush, her sculpted skin and bold brows make for a solid no-makeup look peg. And it works because she chose to define her other features instead of focusing on having rouged cheeks and tinted lips.
To cop it, start by defining your eyebrows with a darker color to get that bushy, boyish brow. Brow gel works, too! Then sweep a warm bronzer over the outer parts of the face instead of packing on the blush and highlighter. This will make you look sunkissed and sculpted without being overdone. You can add some highlighter on the high points of your face if you wish!
On the lips, avoid putting too much color to keep things simple. Either go bare with just a swipe of lip balm or opt for a sheer, neutral-colored lip product that you can easily blend out with your finger.
