So dainty!

The next time you treat yourself to something designer, here's a tip: Don't throw away the packaging just yet! Or, you know, at least keep the logo-printed ribbon. That unassuming strip of satin is your key to rocking the logomania trend for less. Use it as a belt if it's long enough, or take your cue from Mariel Padilla and use it as a luxe hair accessory:

Your ponytail has a zero chance of looking boring with a Chanel ribbon wrapped around it. Not to mention, Mariel's Barbie-esque vibe is too cute not to cop. But if you want to try other knots, here are three we can't recommend enough:

1. A low ponytail with a black ribbon looks edgy and polished sans the pussy bow.

2. Scratch that belt idea for this spiced-up braid if you have long locks!

3. Ribbons from small purchases can be reused, too! Take this adorable Dior bow on a half-pony, for example.

Now there's another excuse to splurge on a designer item!
