If Denise Laurel isn't your Friday night-out makeup peg already, then you're missing out terribly. The actress has eyes to kill, from her sultry selfies to the way she picks her eyeshadow hues. One look we always copy from her is her easy-to-do smokey looks, like this one, for example:
We love it because it doesn't require too much time and precision work. With dark brown eyeshadow, you can create a quick dramatic eye just by smuding the color on your upper and lower lashlines with a shader brush. This defines the eyes and creates the illusion of a smokey eye without actually putting a lot of product on your eyelid! For a softer look, you can blend a lighter brown shade over the darker color with the same brush.
