Your gorgeous locks deserve some love too, so, below, here are four easy ways you can keep your hair healthy and shiny this summer.

1. Moisturize and nourish with a hair mask.

2. Do not overwash.

Yes, it's hot and you probably want to take a cold shower twice a day. But keep in mind that overwashing can leave your hair stripped of all the natural oils. To avoid the temptation of overwashing, try spritzing some dry shampoo every other day to keep that crown fresh.

3. Apply protection if you're using heat-styling tools.

Applying heat directly to your strands can be super damaging so if you plan to use your hair dryers, flat or curling irons, prep your hair properly. Thankfully, there are hair primers made specifically for heat-styling. Be sure to protect your hair with a generous coat of these products.
