Heart Evangelista is used to being asked whether or not she underwent plastic surgery.
On Sunday, October 25, 2020, the actress addressed this rumor anew in a candid exchange with her followers through Instagram Stories.
One of her followers asked: "Have you done any plastic surgeries? :D"
Heart quickly said no, "Never done anything to my face. My eyes nose etc were made by God. I swear."
The actress clarified that while she supports others who go under the knife, she resents those who keep insisting she did something to enhance her beauty. The StarStruck judge continued, "I have nothing against it in fact am for it if ikagaganda mo. I just hate the idea that some people think I'm lying."
Heart also pointed out that it would be very obvious if she had something done on her face since she gets scars easily. She told her Instagram follower, "I also scar very bad so that freaks me out - knowing when I'm much much older how will do some work?"
This wasn't the first time Heart addressed these kinds of rumors. On November 13, 2015, Heart uploaded a promotional video of her book This Is Me, Love Marie on her Instagram account.
Heart said, "No I didn't have anything done to my face. You [want] to see?"
The Kapuso star then examined her eyelids to look for scarring or other signs that she went through plastic surgery. She did the same thing to her nose by pushing it with her finger on different sides.
Heart said, "My nose is perfectly fine. No stitches. Happy? Good!"
