With the abundance of highlighters on the market, cheating your way to glowing skin has become simpler than ever. One swipe on your cheeks is all takes! The rather challenging part is making that beam look real, like you're actually glowing from within. For this, you need some assistance from the skincare department.

Before powdering your face, pat a very small amount of your favorite non-sticky face oil on the high points of your cheeks. One to two drops should be enough! If you accidentally apply too much, blot off the excess with some tissue or massage the oil onto your skin to let it absorb. Here's a demo from celebrity makeup artist Mark Qua on his muse Elisse Joson:

But wait—we're not stopping there! To set the oil and further reduce the tacky feel, apply a powder highlighter right on top. Not only will this double your glow's intensity, it will also make it last longer!
