Glowing skin is definitely part of Elisse Joson's signature look, and she's shown us so many ways to wear it. She's had her cheeks beaming with only face oil, for one, and when she's in a rush, a sheer layer of dewy foundation. But what about highlighter, you ask? That, only her makeup artist Mark Qua can answer. He demonstrated one of his techniques on Instagram for us to watch and learn, revealing some of his glowing picks in the process.
To start the glow on this look, Mark mixed two liquid higlighters and applied it to the highest point of Elisse's cheekbones with a small brush. He used quick, patting motions to blend in the product to avoid disturbing the foundation underneath. While waiting for the liquid to set, he worked on her contour, eyeshadow, and lashes—a great tip if you want your liquid products to stay on longer! After, Mark applied a powder highlighter on his muse's cheeks, which amplifies the glow and sets the products underneath.
Sadly, one of the products he used is limited edition (Tom Ford's Soleil Glow Drops), but you can still cop the exact look with the combo below!
PERRICONE MD No Highlighter Highlighter, P1850, Rustan's; NARS Hot Nights Face Palette, P3250, Power Plant Mall
If you love the lip color she's wearing, Mark shared the details of that, too. It's actually pretty close to Elisse's favorite nude lipstick from Natasha (find out what it is here!) but this one is a lighter, flesh-toned nude.
