Calvin Klein is breathing new life into one of their most popular fragrances' campaigns. Obsession, released in 1993, now has its 2010s counterpart called Obsessed. It is Raf Simons' first scent project as creative director, and as always, he's bringing new things to the table by celebrating the brand's classically seductive spirit.

The image above is seen in the new scent's campaign where the classic perfume's original muse, Kate Moss, remains the star. It shows never-before-seen shots of the supermodel at 18, photographed and filmed by then-boyfriend Mario Sorrenti. "If one thing summed up Calvin Klein for us visually, it was Mario Sorrenti’s Obsession campaign with Kate Moss," Raf says, explaining his vision. "It lived in our heads for so many years and became a touchstone of sensuality when we arrived at Calvin Klein."

The intimacy of the photos rings amazingly true to the raw and unposed idea of the perfume. It's known that Kate and Mario had no team for that shoot—no hair and makeup [artists] and stylists. "We were young and in love and I loved photographing her. When we did Obsession she was 18 and I was 20, just starting out in our lives with no pressure about anything. We were just going off and having fun," Mario recalls.

The perfumes themselves smell just as intimate as its visuals, with notes that truly deliver their claims. "We thought about a scent that could reflect such an idea of memory and desire for today. Of male and female, of the memory of somebody else on your skin," describes Raf.

Obsessed for Women is a mix of lavender, sage, and musk. It's certainly not one of those scents that'll make you smell like a garden. This one is creamy, aromatic, and borderline genderless. Meanwhile, Obsessed for Men is a romantic fusion of black vanilla and ambrox that's strong yet sleek—a memory magnet anyone would want in their collection.
