Brushed-up brows seem like they're only for people who are naturally blessed with a full set of arches. But you know what they say: Never underestimate the power of makeup. With the right products, even someone with sparse brow hairs can cop a brow game like Cara Delevingne's.
One of our favorite techniques is that of London-based makeup artist Nikki Wolff's, who's responsible for the perfect brows of Dua Lipa and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Keep reading to find out how she achieves the perfect brushed-up arches!
The interesting thing about Nikki's method is that she lifts the hairs first and then fills the brow in later. To do this, she does the "soap brows" technique (Bea Alonzo's makeup artist swears by this, too!). She sprays makeup setting spray on a tin of clear glycerin soap, works up a lather with a spoolie, and then combs this through existing eyebrow hairs to lift them. Doing this will define all your existing strands (no matter how few) and help them hold that brushed-up look.

Once your brows are up, the gaps will become much more visible—which should serve as your cue as to where to fill them in! Nikki usually does this using eyebrow pomade and a thin angled brush for more control, drawing in realistic brow hairs at each stroke. You can also try it with a fine eyebrow pen if you prefer a sheer finish.
