Sharing the makeup facechart on Instagram, the makeup artists revealed detailed pointers that cover the eyes, face, lips, and overall finish. Such a gesture captures the hard work that goes into beauty and the precision needed to create cohesion. In addition, it invites fans to recreate the look.

Preview spoke to Mark about the thought process behind the look, collaborating with fellow makeup artists, and Filipino beauty on the global stage.

What was the inspiration and thought process behind the makeup look you decided for BINI?

"The inspiration was really about balancing softness and strength. I wanted the girls to feel radiant and ethereal on stage, but still grounded and powerful. So the direction became very light-reflective skin, flushed tones, and delicate shimmer details—especially around the eyes and high points of the face. It gives that almost celestial glow, but the base is still warm and skin-like, so it doesn’t feel disconnected. The thought process was also to highlight each member’s individuality while keeping a cohesive look as a group. Same energy, same story—but adjusted per face so it still feels personal and intentional."

How was the experience collaborating with other makeup artists for this historic moment?

"Honestly, it was such a collaborative and inspiring experience. Everyone came in with their own strengths and vision, but we all had the same goal—to make sure the girls look their best and represent Filipino artistry on that stage. There was a lot of trust, respect, and open communication, which made everything flow naturally. It didn’t feel competitive—it felt like we were all contributing to one bigger vision. Moments like this remind you that when artists come together, you can really create something special."

What is your vision for Filipino beauty on the global stage or how would you describe Filipino beauty to the world?

"For me, Filipino beauty is effortless, adaptable, and full of character. We don’t fit into just one standard—we can be soft, strong, bold, or natural, and still feel authentic. On the global stage, my vision is for Filipino beauty to be seen as something versatile and world-class, but still rooted in who we are—our skin, our features, our warmth. It’s not about trying to look like anyone else—it’s about owning our identity and elevating it in a way that feels modern, confident, and unapologetically Filipino."
