Bimby Aquino has been making quite the reintroduction with his recent hosting appearances on Eat Bulaga. Now 19, the showbiz scion has quickly won over the noontime show's viewers, often going viral for his mature appearance and endearing banter with co-host Ryzza Mae Dizon.

Bimby, of course, is no stranger to the spotlight. As the son of the "Queen of Talk" Kris Aquino, his star is only bound to keep rising. Attesting to that is makeup artist RB Chanco, who has worked closely with the Aquino family for years.
RB was present for the countless endorsement shoots and projects Bimby did alongside his mother. "My job was simply to make sure he looked polished, camera-ready, and as adorable as he naturally was," she tells Preview in an exclusive interview. Now that Bimby is all grown up, RB says she's also noticed just how much of a professional he has become.
"He doesn’t micromanage or ask for endless adjustments. He simply trusts your expertise," she shares, adding that he's incredibly mindful of time and schedules. "As someone who admittedly enjoys chatting while working, seeing him casually glance at his watch is usually my cue to pick up the pace. He has this very calm, grounded energy about him that’s quite rare, especially for someone his age."

When it came to grooming Bimby for Eat Bulaga, RB wanted to present him as the "warm, approachable, and relatable" young man she's come to know.
"He genuinely is well-raised, well-mannered, well-educated, and naturally presentable. My job was simply to make sure those qualities translated on camera," she states. "He carries that understated 'boy next door' charm—polished and refined, but never inaccessible or intimidating."
Above all, the makeup artist wanted to highlight his natural attributes. As someone who continues to come of age in front of the camera, it was important for Bimby to simply look like himself. "The grooming should never be the first thing people notice. Instead, the impression should simply be that he looks confident, charming, and exceptionally well put together," RB says.
Bimby Aquino's Exact Makeup Products and Routine
With her years of experience in live television, RB was well-equipped to prepare Bimby for his appearances on Eat Bulaga—where, she proudly shares, he is now a semi-regular host.
For these engagements, RB takes an "invisible enhancement" approach to makeup and styling. "The goal isn't to create a makeup look. It's to quietly elevate what's already there," she explains. "Bimby has naturally beautiful skin, with an even skin tone, a natural flush, and naturally pink lips. My role is really just to preserve and amplify those qualities."
Ahead, she breaks down her usual routine for Bimby, revealing the exact products she regularly uses on him. Be sure to take notes.
Skin Prep
To start, RB primes the canvas. She generously mists his face with MAC Fix+, followed by a trio of La Mer products that target different areas of the face while keeping his complexion plump and fresh. Right before applying foundation, RB also hydrates Bimby's skin with the Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Primer.

Foundation
Next comes foundation, which RB uses as sparingly as possible. "Because Bimby already has naturally beautiful skin—which he definitely inherited from his mother—foundation is more like a whisper than a layer," she says. To subtly even out his complexion, she opts for Dior's Skin Perfect Multi-Use Foundation Stick in 2.5N, correcting only where needed with NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Custard.
Given the intensity of studio lighting, a little powder goes a long way. For this, RB relies on MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in NC30, which she applies using a special technique. "I lightly swirl a large face brush into the compact and softly diffuse it through the center of the face, under the eyes, and along the neck, allowing the skin's natural texture to remain visible," she shares.

Finishing Touches
And to cap things off, RB swipes on Prada Lip Balm in Banana Yellow to keep his pout hydrated without making it glossy. To create a bit of structure without obvious contouring, she uses Guerlain's Terracotta Bronzer in Medium Brown along the hollows of his cheeks, jawline, temples, and nose. The tiniest amount of Armani Luminous Silk Glow Blush in Amore is then dabbed on to accentuate his natural flush. A light spritz of setting spray, and he's good to go.
