Bianca De Vera is evolving right in front of our eyes, not just as an actress but as a fashion and beauty girl. Alongside Dustin Yu and Will Ashley, she recently starred in Love You So Bad as an entry to the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), with her performance garnering a Best Actress nomination and concluding the MMFF Gabi ng Parangal as the Montessa Female Star of the Night.
Styled by Adrianne Concepcion and her team, Bianca celebrated the career milestone in a custom Fatima Beltran Couture baby pink set, adorned with rhinestones, crystals, and glass beads. Equally embodying a youthful and bubbly energy was her glam, with hair by Renz Pangilinan and makeup by Theresa Padin.
Her faux freckles undeniably added a boost of freshness to her overall look. Lucky for you, Preview chatted with Theresa to learn just how to achieve it!
Theresa Padin’s Tips & Tricks for Faux Freckles, As Seen on Bianca De Vera
“Bianca gave me the liberty to do what I think would suit her,” Theresa tells Preview. With that, she made the 23-year-old’s eyes pop and highlighted her natural glow with a dewy finish. “Adding the faux freckles was the cherry on top. It gave her that youthful radiance.”
Want to recreate the look? Here are some pro tips to keep in mind.
Placement is key.
To keep the look natural, focus on placing the faux freckles where the sun usually hits. These are usually the nose bridge, the upper cheeks, and the forehead.
Get creative with the products in your makeup kit.
For Bianca’s look, Theresa actually used brow pencils. She also went in with liquid contour that was dotted using a hairpin. No need to look far for products that can help you achieve the look, as you might already have them!

Blend with your fingers.
“While using freckle pens and the likes are okay, I love maximizing the warmth of the fingers.” By doing so, the products are lightly melted into the skin, making them adhere easier. “Once you put the dots, you can use your fingers to smudge them to make for a more realistic finish.”
Apply dots of different sizes.
Observe real freckles, and you’ll notice the numerous variations of their shapes and sizes. Keeping this in mind, uniform dots make for an unnatural look, so feel free to play around!
Use varying shades of brown.
In relation to the previous tip, freckles come in different shades, too. Theresa encourages that you experiment with your chosen products’ intensities, but don’t use black as it may come off a little too harsh for such a sweet look. “Products should be waterproof and sweat-proof as well.”
