Photo dumps on Instagram are one way to casually share what’s going on in your life, and Bela Padilla’s recent one surely piqued our interest. Penning the caption, “I am exactly where I need to be,” the actress and filmmaker shared several snaps, with a photo of her in a wispy yet full fringe at the beginning.

A few swipes in, and you'll spot a black lipstick and a monitor. Snapshots of shoot signages and a selfie with her bangs curled higher also made it to the carousel. Put the pieces together, and one thing’s clear—Stella is back!

In 2017, Bela starred opposite JC Santos in the romance-drama 100 Tula Para Kay Stella. She played the titular character Stella, a student and aspiring—albeit frustrated—rock star, which explains the arguably emo look.
Eight years later, the pair reunites with film director Jason Paul Laxamana as the sequel, 100 Awit Para Kay Stella, is now in the works. From the plot to the release date, details about the upcoming film remain under wraps. For now, the teaser posted by Bela—which also revealed Kyle Echarri’s involvement—will have to do.
About the Haircut
What Are Curtain Bangs?
There’s no denying that Bela can pull off a full fringe, but on some days, she leans into a sleeker look. That’s where curtain bangs come in—effortlessly versatile and easy to style. Whether you're going for a neat ponytail, laid-back beach waves, or a messy, rockstar-inspired ‘do, this cut makes the switch seamless.

If the eyes are the window to the soul, then these bangs are the flattering curtains. Longer than a typical fringe, curtain bangs are usually styled with a center part. The key to pulling them off is customizing the length to suit your facial features and hair texture. They’ll look different on everyone—from wispy strands to layered versions—and that personalization is exactly what makes them work.

Thanks to their versatility, curtain bangs offer a cool, low-commitment way to upgrade your look, no drastic changes required. If you tend to overthink your next haircut, just know this style won’t let you down.
