While the fashionphiles are busy attending the shows at Philippine Fashion Week, Manila's young and hip crowd opted to hit the beach. After a successful first year, Soul Surf Festival is clearly gaining a following as the shoreline of San Juan, La Union was filled with an excited bunch ready to cap off their month with a weekend getaway. This is only Soul Surf's second year but with the awesome turnout, we think this is the beginning of what will be an annual affair we can all look forward to when the calendar hits the month of October.

Never mind the scorching heat of the sun, surfing newbies and pros all turned up to hit the La Union waves.  

Beer pong from morning 'till dawn.  

Soul Surf prepared a ton of activities along with partners Guess and Emperador to make sure no one hits the sack early.

By 5pm, the crowd filled up the tent for the main event--good music care of  Thomas Jack, Jessica Milner, Katsy Lee, Zombettes, Miles Medina, Manolet Dario, Laurenthie Black Market Sound Clash, Panic City, Urfriends, and Werwolvz
