Fifty years ago, mankind made history by succesfully landing on the moon in the Apollo 11 spaceflight while wearing the Omega Speedmaster a.k.a. the first moon-bound timepiece.
In celebration of this giant leap, not just for humanity, but for the luxury watch brand as well, Omega launched a special exhibition titled the Omega Moon Landing Exhibition, highlighting artwork and photos to embody and commemorate the momentous event while surrounded by golden astronaut statuettes. Displayed right in the middle of it all, of course, is the famed first watch that accompanied man into space.
You can visit the Omega Moon Landing Exhibition at The Lumina Lobby in The Podium, Ortigas until August 4, 2019.
Take a peek at the stylish guests who were at the opening of the exhibition, below.
The launch was backed by a myriad of celebrities and influencers who gamely posed with the glamorous golden mini statues. We spotted Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres-Gomez, Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati, and more:
