Loewe Taps Filipino TikTok Star Yu Jenner to Model Couture

In recent years, Loewe has upheld a brand of idiosyncrasy through its philosophy and visual identity. This unorthodox approach is applied beyond its designs, as it's a principle the brand applies even to its marketing schemes and social media efforts. 

Seventeen-year-old Yu Jenner has made DIY runway videos a mainstay of their TikTok account. Often, viewers would double-tap on videos of the content creator modeling makeshift frocks made of curtains or bed sheets. This time, however, they were sent a lace maxi dress plucked straight out of Loewe's couture closet. The dramatics were at an all-time high as they swished around the piece, tossing its diaphanous layers in the air.

Some viewers applauded Loewe for once again giving a platform to Filipino talent and ingenuity. Back in 2023, the Spanish label collaborated with Mathilda Airlines to model a Polly Pocket-inspired ensemble from its Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
