If there were two fashion forces we love stalking on Instagram, they would have to be besties Giovanna Battaglia (contributing Fashion Editor at W Magazine and Senior Fashion Editor at Vogue Japan) and Anna Dello Russo (Vogue Japan's editor-at-large). Unlike other editors who skimp out on posts, these two aren't ones to shy away from a OOTD post or three. What you see on the runways one day, you’ll see on their slim bodies the next. We always daydream about their designer-filled closets, but today all eyes were on Giovanna as she said her I Do’s in a seaside lighthouse in Italy.
The Italian stylist, blogger, and fashion editor had a fashion-filled seaside nuptials in Capri, Italy with Swedish realtor Oscar Englebert on Friday June 10.
Everything was picture-perfect, from the venue to, of course, her wedding frock. For the ceremony, she wore a custom Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen showstopper. It featured an embellished corset, a floral headpiece, and a train that could fit five people.
And we mean that quite literally as seen in this photo with her bridesmaids.
She then changed into a fully-embellished Giambattista Valli mini dress with matching boots for the reception.
Look at that venue! Exactly what dreams are made of!
Her BFF on the other hand rocked a back-baring blush Valentino frock for the wedding.
Before changing into a party-ready Dolce and Gabbana mini.
But what we really want to discuss was something we saw at her rehearsal dinner at Piazza Umberto I, the night before the wedding.
Aside from her custom fringe white Rafia dress from Azzedine Alaïa.
We also couldn’t get over her super cute newsstand photo booth!
Very fitting for a magazine editor!
And it seemed like it was a sure hit for the guests, too!
Needless to say, her wedding was very Giovanna from head to toe—over the top, stylish, and definitely a whole lot of fun. Congrats again to the lovely couple!
