Because repurposing is so much fun.

Remember those clear plastic envelopes we used to lug around in elementary school? We had them filled on the daily with all our then-essentials: pad paper, pens, some art materials, a notebook or two. Looks like you'll be heading back to primary school, because a grownup version is making its way through the fashion circuit!

These pretty numbers from Staud are at the top of our shopping lists, and we love their uncanny, amusing resemblace to those sturdy old bookstore-bought folders of yore. Goes to show that everything comes full circle.

In case you wanted an option that's even more accessible (best believe it's possible), look no further than that plastic-wrapped package that's just arrived on your doorstep!

Yep, you read that right. Repurposing plastic seems to be a growing movement amongst street style's best-dressedit might be a reach, but intentional or not, note that there are certainly environmental benefits to reap if this trend gains traction. It's also good training ground for filtering out your baggage (i.e. before you dump all those crumpled receipts in there, don't forget that your tote's totally see-through!).

Brb, heading to the nearest supply shop for a slice of the look!
