What's your personal style?

My personal style is very feminine and relaxed. I love dresses and wear them practically every single day! I love how they dress up back in the day (think Mad Men) and love pairing my dresses with pretty heels and bags. I like the challenge of changing the look of a single dress by styling it differently.  I also dress comfortably since I have to move around a lot during events but know when its time to sacrifice comfort for glamour when the event calls for it.

From a fashion/style perspective, do you find anyone particularly inspiring, living or dead?

I think Audrey Hepburn is classic elegance personified. She inspires to be more feminine and elegant when it comes to choosing what to wear. I also adore Betty Draper’s style (Mad Men) and would love to raid her closet.

Is there any fashion item you collect?

I don’t really collect them but I love dresses so I have quite a lot of them.  Since I have tiny feet I tend to overbuy shoes when I am abroad and find a store that has a lot of shoes my size!

What's your favorite item in your closet?

My dad’s long sleeve polo that he wore back in the ‘70s when he was much thinner! I love the fit, the vintage feel and the oversized collar.

Where do you shop for office/work wear?
Because I work in a magazine company, work wear and gimmick wear are sometimes one and the same. I usually shop at Plains and Prints, R.A.F., Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Warehouse, Details and The Ramp. Sometimes I also ask my friend to customize clothes for me. I sometimes scour ukay-ukay shops.

 Office wardrobe tip

Always dress appropriately. Even if your office dress code is casual, try to wear something that wouldn’t make you feel uncomfortable and insecure if you suddenly meet someone important at work. It is still better to be overdressed than underdressed especially if you’re eyeing that promotion.
