Did you know that back in the early 19th century it was the color blue that was associated to being feminine as it was believed to be delicate and dainty? A pipe dream for sure for some of us who were practically forced to wear pink clothes and play with pink toys all throughout our childhood just because it was the girly thing to do (A momet of silence for all my bright pink clothes and Barbie dolls, abandoned and gathering dust in a bodega somewhere.) So at what point in history exactly did society suddenly decide that pink was the be-all and end-all color for the girly-girl?
