Arguably one of the most recognizable Gen Z creators in the space today, the 25-year-old has gained a following for her flawless makeup looks, impeccable sense of style, and her bright, bubbly personality.

1. She was born and raised in Hong Kong.
Steph was born and raised in Hong Kong before eventually moving with her family to Toronto, Canada. Even before relocating, she often spent summers in Toronto to visit family. In fact, while living in Hong Kong, she attended a Canadian international school.
Currently 25 years old, Steph also grew up as an only child.

2. She studied at New York University.
After finishing school in Hong Kong, Steph moved to New York City to attend the prestigious New York University (NYU), where she majored in Film and minored in Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Business.

3. She was on track to become a film director/producer.
After attending university, Steph pursued a career in the film industry, aspiring to become a director and producer.

4. She started creating fashion and beauty content in 2022.
While working a job in film, Steph began posting on TikTok. Her content quickly gained traction, and she soon amassed a large following on the platform. Not long after Steph quickly amassed a significant following on her social media platforms, which ultimately led her to leave her day job in film and pursue content creation full time.

5. She’s worked with multiple major designer brands.
Since shifting to content creation, Steph has collaborated with global fashion houses like Miu Miu, Dior, and Chanel. Her work as an influencer has also brought her to the world’s biggest fashion weeks, where she’s regularly attended the shows of brands like Versace, Gucci, Prada, and countless others.

6. She’s a dancer too.
In a 2022 TikTok video, Steph shared that she’s been dancing since she was four years old.
7. She stands 5’2".
In the same video, Steph opened up about her height, saying it’s long been a source of insecurity. “I feel like I’m taken less seriously because I’m small, and I always get called ‘honey’ or ‘sweetie’ by strangers,” she said.
8. She’s fluent in Cantonese and knows a bit of Mandarin.
Steph takes pride in her heritage. In some of her videos, she does full “Get Ready With Me” content while speaking in Cantonese. She also shared that she speaks a little Mandarin too.
9. She’s always loved fashion and beauty.
Long before becoming a content creator, Steph had a deep interest in fashion and beauty. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, she said it started out as a lifelong hobby. “And I’ve always gravitated towards colours, fun prints and silhouettes. Wearing a fun outfit makes me feel like my best, most confident self!,” she expressed.
