Let's just get this out of the way: A plain white T-shirt is never going to go out of style. Like, ever. Though favored fit and fabric may shapeshift as the seasons roll by, it's undeniably an eternal classicso could it be that a new contender is competing for first place?

They're not much different, but consider the fitted white tank top. An antithesis of the recent oversized logo tee influx, it's basic to the highest degree and perhaps a tad bit dated (think those velour Juicy Couture sweats from 2004)...up 'til now. A single scroll through Instagram reveals the fashion crowd beginning to pair the little white tank with pretty much everything; take note that the au courant silhouette appears to be thin, tight, and with a low scooped neck.
