The Cleo first debuted in Prada’s Multiple Views Spring-Summer 2021 collection. The main variant of Prada’s Cleo Bags are crafted from brushed calfskin making it sit comfortably on your shoulder or the crook of your arm. What are the different kinds of the Prada Cleo?
1. Prada Cleo Brushed Leather Shoulder Bag
This version of the Prada Cleo Brushed Leather Shoulder Bag comes in two size options, a smaller and larger one. The larger one measures 18.5cm x 4cm x 30cm (HLW) and the smaller size is 22cm x 6cm x 27cm. Both variants have the same structure, magnetic snap closure, and Prada’s iconic triangle logo.
The difference between the two variants is the handle and color selection. The larger variant has two leather handle options, one with an extension which can be used as a crossbody and another with an adjustable handle but is not long enough to be a crossbody.
On the other hand, the smaller variant has an unadjustable leather handle which is meant to sit comfortably on your shoulder, and not across your body. In terms of color selection, the smaller-sized Cleo comes in seven colors: Black, white, silver, aqua, cornflower blue, desert beige, and alabaster pink. Meanwhile the larger sized crossbody Cleo comes in only four colors: Black, cornflower blue, desert beige, and white. The adjustable handled Cleo comes in only two colors: Black and white.
2. Prada Cleo Ostrich Leather Shoulder Bag
This variant of the Cleo is the same size as the smaller sized handbag, but instead of brushed leather, it comes in a luxurious ostrich leather make. Compared to the brushed leather version, this ostrich leather variant is definitely more sophisticated and unique despite having the same silhouette. This variant of the Cleo comes in four colors: White, aquamarine, powder pink, and pineapple yellow.
3. Prada Cleo Brushed Leather Shoulder Bag with Flap
The Prada Cleo Shoulder Bag with Flap is the smallest out of the bunch, measuring at 15.5cm x 4cm x 22cm. Similar to the previous variants, this shoulder bag has the same sleek curved lines in the same brushed leather but with a top flap instead of a top opening! This flap bag comes in five colors: Black, white, aqua, silver, and cornflower blue.
