With the annual ABS-CBN Ball fast approaching, it's no wonder the celebrity side of the interwebs has been flooded as of late with a flurry of measurements and final fittings between stars and their chosen designers. That said, repping a patriotic Modern Filipiniana theme, we're curiously enthused to see how our favorite designers will spin their own contemporary versions of the traditional Filipino garb.
As for who's wearing who, here's what we know so far:
Kathryn Bernardo in Michael Cinco
In an Instagram story, Kathryn's trusted hairstylist John Valle revealed a quick snap of Kath getting her measurements taken by Dubai-based designer Michael Cinco, with the #ABSCBNBall2019 plastered below. Known for his extravagant and intricate ball gowns, we can't wait to see what Michael has up in his sleeve for the box office queen.
Kisses Delavin in Jot Losa
Just a week ago, the official ABS-CBN Instagram page released a special "getting ready" video with Pinoy Big Brother darling Kisses Delavin. Here, she's seen trying on a forest green terno with an embroidered bodice detail. Now, while it may seem a likely candidate, ABS-CBN news reports that Kisses is actually set to don a pastel frock by designer Jot Losa instead.
Heaven Peralejo in Julianne Syjuco
Fellow PBB alum Heaven Peralejo donned a red satin terno for her own fitting, as seen below. While not yet final, ABS-CBN journalist MJ Felipe did reveal that she's set to wear Julianne Syjuco for the occasion, with the designer promising a modern Filipina look for the 20-year-old.
Enrique Gil in Randy Ortiz
As for the boys, the journalist also shared Enrique Gil's meeting with designer Randy Ortiz. According to MJ, we can expect the actor to show up on the red carpet looking dashing in a black barong tagalog made from handwoven tinalak fabric.
Kira Balinger in Mark Bumgarner
Sticking to her trusted designer, it seems like Kira Balinger's returning to the ABS-CBN Ball decked in yet another Mark Bumgarner creation.
Ryza Cenon in Jef Albea
Meanwhile, first-time ball atendee Ryza Cenon expressed her excitement at donning a number by designer Jef Albea. "Can’t wait to wear your creation Sir @jefalbea," reads her IG post.
Alyssa Valdez in Nat Manilag
Voleyball star Alyssa Valdez also provided a peak at her own fitting with designer Nat Manilag.
Speaking of the designer, Nat also posted a few photos of his fittings on his IG page with the #ABSCBNBall2019. Names included in his celebrity roster are Gary Valenciano and Xian Lim, as evidenced below.

Anne Curtis in Michael Cinco, Ezra Santos, or Furne One Amato
Always a beauty to watch, Anne Curtis was very recently spotted hanging out with Dubai-based designers Michael Cinco, Ezra Santos, and Furne One Amato. Its unclear whether the friendly chat stemmed from ball-related matters, but considering Anne has a rich history of donning each of their creations, the chance of her wearing a Dubai-based Filipino designer is high. Who knows, maybe she's evend found a way to gather all three for a showstopping extravagant number? Either way, we can't wait to find out!
