If you want to know whether your mayor delivers his promises or if a certain politician is spending an unscrupulous amount of money, look no further because that’s where wearable technology comes in!
We’ve all heard of devices like fitbit (which we use to track how much calories we burn on a run, for example) or the Apple Watch (which is basically an iPhone on your wrist).
Just as Nigeria launched a site that tracks their president’s performance, millennial news site Ozy proposed using wearable gadgets like these to stalk elected leaders, specifically their activities and perhaps whereabouts. That would surely be a way to keep politicians accountable to their promises.
Maybe we could even use it for the upcoming elections in the Philippines.
