With its charcoal walls, concrete floors, glass doors, and steel design, it’s not your usual frilly salon. In fact, its understated modern design will pull you in as the stark contrast of the dresses against the dark walls will intrigue every girl—single, in a relationaship, even married ones.

After choosing the dresses we liked to fit, the Vera Wang team attended to our every need. In between sips of white wine and conversations, Sam, their bridal consultant, and their in-house tailor helped us into the frothy designer dresses.

They then zipped and clamped the gowns to fit us, while describing how each piece were carefully sewn together using only the finest materials.

Remember this dress from the movie Bride Wars starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway? Trust us when we say Kate's character had a good eye for style choosing this gown. With its belted structured lace bodice that culminate in a layered full tulle skirt with a short train, this gown is a dream come true for any girl who wants to feel like a princess on her big day.

Meanwhile, this gown is part of Vera Wang’s Spring 2017 collection. It won’t stay long in the Manila boutique though, as it would be flown out to Singapore to be displayed there.

This dress has a sheer lace for the body, almost wearing lingerie, strategically covering parts of the body. It’s a tiered tulle gown with an extra long train. I mentioned to the team that I would love to wear this on my own big day if not for the heavy train. They said that Vera Wang accepts alterations, whether to shorten or to lengthen your choice. They assured us, too, that they can customize your gown—be it the material, length, fit, or color.

Sam mentioned to us that the floral appliques on every gown here are couture, meaning they are all hand-sewn. You cannot find a fabric with the same design as their gowns. But they can remake their gowns should you find your size unavailable at the store.
