Let your clothes do the talking.

Surveying pieces from the likes of Moschino, Miu Miu, and Alexander McQueen, (most notably the supersized, near-nightmarish runway looks from the 2000 Fall collection), one thing becomes clear: fashion is all about audacity. Sure, monochromatic hoodie-sweatpant combos are heavenly and easy on the eyes, but the sartorial universe is big, and there's always room for the daring, the garrish, and the strange. By all means, raise a few eyebrows here and there! If you're not into overtly poufy silhouettes just yet, (think Minju Kim and Molly Goddard) you can always engage in a bit of print-on-print action. Just pile 'em on!

Below are some print-on-print OOTDs for you to copy. See if any of the looks speak to you!

1. Polka dots in negatives

ICYMI, polka dots are very in. Wear the same pattern with inversed values! Here, Camille Co goes back to basics with a black and white ensemble. With that puffy shoulder, this look is very Cruella de Vil in the best possible way.

2. Big cat co-ords punctuated with a black bandeau

Structure a printed set with a solid black inner. Jeline Catt's carrying a beige baguette bag that matches the tone of her suit, too. The color scheme here is seamless.

3. Scales and fur

The black bandeau proves its loyalty! Dare to wear a croc or snake-like print with a fur print, whether that be tiger, leopard, or cheetah. On Laureen Uy, the happy result is halfway between a disco and safari, and we're all for it.

4. Tie-dye, twice

This one's a breeze! Wear a tie-dyed shirt over a pair of tie-dyed pants or shorts. So summery!

5. Stripe on stripe on stripe

Not a fan of bold prints? Dabble your toes into subtle patterns that looks almost like a neutral: Stripes! Mix in more colored lines, and voila! You'll look just as chic as Mikka Padua.

6. Carry-on print

Not ready to have clashing prints on your person? Take a page from Nicole Andersson's book and carry your second print as a bag instead. Her OOTD is pointillism come to life. Also, the pairing of the jet-black square-toed boots and rectangular sunnies is just, ah, formidable.

7. Doll hues

Prints can be quiet, too. Tricia Gosingtian's outfit proves that print clashing can be dainty, sweet, and spellbinding all at the same time. This isn't even pastel; we're looking at hushed, milky hues. For all the softer dressers out there, this one's a look to remember.

8. Same color family

Find prints that share a base color. Here, Shaira Luna stuns in indigo. Side note: if you want to get into prints, you have to check out her YouTube channel. You'll find everything you need to know there, promise!

9. Shoeprint, literally

Don't see yourself wearing print-on-print anytime soon? It's okay, work with your range! Pamela Andres wears an approachable outfit here: a floral top, flared denim jeans, and plaid platform heels. It's playful, but not rowdy. Now you know—invested in a printed shoe!

10. Just the one print

When all else fails, you can always pile on piece with the same print, with the same color. The result? A polished yet quirky look, just like Rei Germar's!
