Jojie Lloren. James Reyes. Dennis Lustico. Jo Ann Bitagcol.

If you think we’re listing down some of the best in Philippine fashion, you are 100% correct. But, these people have something else in common. They can be your instructor if you enroll in a course with Fashion + Arts + Business Creatives.

F.A.B. Creatives offers workshops in fashion illustration, creative sewing, womenswear, and menswear design. Related businesses such as visual merchandising, fashion photography, and basic beauty and editorial makeup are also taught.

F.A.B Creatives also hosts F.A.B. Talks, which is an opportunity for people to listen to experts like Inno Sotto talk about their experience in the industry. Schools or businesses can also make arrangements for customized modules on personal and professional enhancement to be taught to their organization.

The most unique feature of F.A.B. Creatives is the impressive lineup of instructors they have. For instance, menswear is taught by Joey Samson, a member of the Young Designer’s Guild and a frequent featured designer at fashion events. But more than just being recognizable names, the instructors are known to be working professionals with proven track records in the industry.

F.A.B Creatives employs a hands-on method of teaching. Class sizes are small, usually numbering eight students per batch. According to Jojie Lloren, “our workshops are taught in a non-traditional classroom format, where students will benefit from a truly enriching experience as class size is small, allowing for personalization and mentoring.”

The courses are also manageable, time-wise. Classes are usually done over a period of four to 12 sessions, most of which are held on weekends. This schedule makes it friendlier for people attending schools or holding a nine to five job. In fact, F.A.B. Creatives was conceived from the idea that anyone who wants to be creative should have a venue. It is not necessary to have a creative background or have technical skills to enroll in a course.

According to Jojie, “Our workshops can help sharpen the tools and hone the skills needed when inspiration strikes. To be sure, art lingers in one’s imagination and knowledge, and technique allows the hands to create the art. F.A.B. is the place to learn and experience the exciting and inspiring world of the creative process.”

F.A.B. Creatives is located at 3/F Paseo Tesoro Building, 822 A. Arnaiz Ave., Makati City. For upcoming workshops and schedules, call (02) 541-1600 or log on to their website.
