Voting has already begun for the Mango It Girl search on Lookbook.nu and Camille Co is already in the lead with 3,969 votes as of press time. She is up against Lua P of Peru, Alexandra Per of Spain, Kasia Gorol of Poland, and Cosette Munch of Sweden.
A post in her blog, itscamilleco.com reveals that she’s already in Barcelona with the four other candidates and apart from the excitement of being flown to Spain, they were treated to a shopping spree in a Mango boutique along Passeig de Gràcia where, according to Camille, “we had the whole store to ourselves to shop!”

With just 2 days to go before the poll closes, Camille is calling on support from everyone online to help her win the contest. If she wins, she’ll not only star in the brand’s Spring-Summer 2012 online campaign but she’ll also receive a $10,000 check for the charity of her choice.
Her parting words in her blog: “This is really a once in a lifetime experience. Never have I thought, not even in my wildest dreams, that I’d one day experience an opportunity like this. I’m proud to be here and to represent not only girls who are like me but also other Asians and Filipinos. It’s time we show the world what we can do!”
