Filipina designer Viña Romero commemorates her decade-long journey in fashion with Sampung Taon, a two-part, multi-month activation that brings her thoughtful design ethos into physical form for the first time. The celebration will include pop-ups at Greenbelt 5 and Power Plant Mall, where each space offers a glimpse into the world she’s built since launching her first collection in 2013.

Viña Romero Sets Up a Pop-Up Store for Her 10th Anniversary
A graduate of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s Fashion Design and Merchandising program, Viña has spent the last ten years crafting a design language that speaks in hushed tones—defined by easy structures, tactile textiles, and an emphasis on presence and meaning. Her past collections like Oras, Palagi, and Araw Araw, have reflected this approach.

With Sampung Taon, she steps beyond the atelier to explore how her design sensibility might translate into an experiential retail space.

Running from July 16 to October 15, the first chapter of Sampung Taon opened at Greenbelt 5’s Filipino Zone. This immersive pop-up brings Viña’s aesthetic to life through curated textures, gentle hues, and sculptural stillness—elements that evoke the calm of her studio.

At its core is the launch of Araw Araw, a capsule collection revisiting her signature silhouettes. These pieces speak to timelessness, intended to be worn often and kept through the years.

More than a retail space, the Greenbelt pop-up offers a meditative entry point into the Viña Romero universe. The store is also softly perfumed by Le Labo Fragrances, adding a layer of sensory warmth that mirrors her intuitive approach to fashion.

Also debuting in the space are fabric and resin artworks, including Ambag, a tribute to the spirit of collaboration within her studio practice.

Her second pop-up opens on August 4 at Power Plant Mall, a boutique that focuses on the brand’s made-to-order services. This studio-inspired space will be open by appointment until September 30, 2025. This limited offering gives guests the exclusive chance to engage with Viña’s more fluid and personalized process.

Throughout the duration of Sampung Taon, both spaces will host intimate gatherings, with refreshments by Hatch + Hoolman.
